What We Do
Activities

We like to challenge our residents with things to do and see including:

  • Attendance at sporting events
  • Church activities
  • ARC community work programs
  • Picnics
 
Recreation
delta Along the way, we have found that recreational sporting activities can enhance the quality of life for each resident.

Regardless of their activity level, our residents are given the opportunity to enjoy a wide array of exciting activities including bowling, bicycling, puzzles, games, and outdoor activites. Our creative staff is here to enhance the lives of the people we serve.

Our supervised boating excursions with residents and their families is our most popular outdoor activity. Particpants enjoy the excitement of riding our 38 foot Delta boat.
 
Counseling

While we are not professional counselors, we believe in open conversation and discussion with the families of those with developmental disabilities. Through this dialogue, we hope to minister to your spiritual and mental needs. We understand the stress and strain of raising and caring for developmentally challenged individuals.

In the process, we will find the appropriate professional assistance, agency, or program to help your situation. We are also willing to assist you in finding placement for your loved one until out next group home is available.
 
Community Inclusion

Residents are integrated into the surrounding communities through excursions to the library, church, grocery store, restaurants, malls, etc. where they learn social skills and manners as they enjoy social interactions like paying for food or tickets, ordering their favorite item from a menu, or simply sharing their contagious smiles.
